Guilty?
Justice. Power. Survival.
What would you do if pleading guilty to a crime you never committed became your only chance of survival?
Guilty? is a gripping social drama that exposes weaknesses within Ghana’s criminal justice system, highlights the deplorable conditions in the country’s prisons, and questions the unequal application of justice where privilege and influence often outweigh truth and fairness.
This powerful play confronts readers with difficult moral questions while exposing the human cost of injustice.

Critical Acclaim
“Guilty? is a compelling social drama that interrogates the workings of the justice system in Ghana. At its core lies a disturbing yet familiar question: Would you plead guilty to an offence you did not commit if doing so promised survival?”

Endorsement
“Mensah reminds us that homecoming is not just a physical arrival, but a spiritual reconciliation. It is about acknowledging that while we may be bruised by the journeys we have taken, the power to define our future remains firmly within our hands. Wherever that may be—and may it awaken the same courage in you that it finds in these characters, so that you can finish your own story well and hand over light to your readers yet to discover their own paths home.”
