Summary Of  Spreading Light

The play is  a social drama featuring school children in a rural part of Ghana.
In a small rural village, Asantewaa and Iddrisu, two ambitious students, embark on a mission to bring electricity to their community through a solar energy project. Their path is far from smooth. Kwansah, a classmate consumed by jealousy, attempts to sabotage their efforts. Despite these challenges, the pair remain determined and ultimately complete the project successfully.
Their achievement earns them admiration from their neighbors and significantly improves the village’s quality of life. Kwansah’s wrongdoing is revealed, bringing shame and consequences to him and his mother.
