Humbly they bowed, then sworn to serve,
In tattered garment , they cried out their loyalty to the poor and voiceless…
Now, here we are, their vow they swerve,
Metamorphosing themselves into gods and oppressors,
Hailing the oppressed cowards for their respect and humility which never exist
And branding those who kowtow not, as enemies of state
They defile the sacred sword with the blood of future hopes
And with an overflow of milk and honey in their mouth,
They rob the last dime of the hands that feed them.
